Additions & Renovations
Kingston City Schools underwent a $6.9 Million dollar energy savings upgrade.
Included in the upgrades were the installations of five new boilers at Chambers Elementary School.
The equipment runs at a series, maximizing energy efficiency.
As a result of the renovations, the Kingston School District saves more than $325,000 a year on energy costs.
In 2001 the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy granted the district an Energy Star.
